Screening services:
AHSS Inc, provides screening services to determine the individual needs for services.
Crisis Intervention:
AHSS Inc, provides clinical interventions and support services necessary to provide integrated crisis response, crisis stabilization interventions, or crisis prevention activities for individuals in order for them to remain in the community.
Mobile Crisis Services:
AHSS Inc, provides services twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, every day of the year but not overnight to support the individual in reducing symptoms or harm; or safely transition an individual in an acute crisis to the appropriate, least restrictive level of care.
Day Treatment:
AHSS Inc, provides a nonresidential, intensive treatment program designed for children who have a mental health disorder, are under twenty-one (21) years of age; and are at high risk of out-of-home placement due to a behavioral health issue; (b) Consist of an organized, behavioral health program of treatment and rehabilitative services for mental health disorder.
Peer Support:
AHSS Inc, provides supports to individuals who are diagnosed with a serious mental illness and/or addiction. The Peer support specialist will support the individual in managing his/her recovery, improve their self-advocacy skills, and achieve their identified goals.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
AHSS Inc, provides a multi-modal, multi-disciplinary structured outpatient treatment program that is more intensive than individual outpatient therapy, group outpatient therapy, or family outpatient therapy; (3) hours per day at least three (3) days per week for adults; or (6) hours per week for adolescents; Include:
1. Individual outpatient therapy, group outpatient therapy, or family outpatient therapy unless contraindicated
2. Crisis intervention
3. Psycho-education that is related to identified goals in the client’s treatment plan. If psycho-education is provided, the client or client’s family member shall be:
a. Provided with knowledge regarding the client’s diagnosis, the causes of the condition, and the reasons why a particular treatment might be effective for reducing symptoms
b. Taught how to cope with the client’s diagnosis or condition in a successful manner.
Individual/Family/Group Therapy:
AHSS Inc, provides individual, family, and group therapy to help the individual obtain health and wellbeing and the restoration of the client to his or her best possible functional level; The plane of care would focus on
1. Reducing adverse symptoms;
2. Reducing or eliminating the presenting problem of the client
3. Improving functioning;
Assertive Community Treatment
AHSS, Inc. provides a program designed to help individuals diagnosed with a Severe Mental Illness to avoid inpatient hospitalizations and who needs more than traditional outpatient services. Once the individual is accepted in the program, the services will be available to the individual 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Comprehensive Support:
AHSS, Inc. provides services for individuals that are diagnosed with a mental health disorder to live with maximum independence in the community through the use of skills training as identified in the client’s treatment plan; (b) Consist of using a variety of psychiatric rehabilitation techniques to:
1. Improve daily living skills
2. Improve self-monitoring of symptoms and side effects
3. Improve emotional regulation skills
4. Improve crisis coping skills
5. Develop and enhance interpersonal skills
Targeted Case Management:
AHSS, Inc. provides individualized case management services to clients in the community. The services will be provided on an 1:1 basis with the client and their support system so he/she will be able to recognize and accomplish their identified goals.
Therapeutic Rehabilitation services:
AHSS, Inc. provides therapeutic rehabilitation services for individuals for an adult with a severe mental illness or child with a serious emotional disability that are delivered in a face to face environment in order to maximize the reduction of mental illness or emotional disability and restore the client’s functional level to the individual’s best possible functioning;
(b) Require the client to be responsible for establishing his or her own rehabilitative goals
within the person-centered plan of care;
(c) Be delivered using a variety of psychiatric rehabilitation techniques focused on:
1. Improving daily living skills
2. Self-monitoring of symptoms and side effects
3. Emotional regulation skills
4. Crisis coping skills
5. Interpersonal skills
